restricted versus unrestricted tickets

Hi to all

I am looking for a reward card to use for free airline tickets. I charge about $35,000 a year on my card. Can someone please explain the difference between a restricted and unrestricted ticket and which reward program or card should I consider? thanks

Restricted means you have to follow certain guidelines when you get your free airline tickets. They include things like having to book 21 days in advance, having to stay a saturday night and not being able to change your flights without any penalty. Unrestricted simply means there are no restrictions.

Well Restricted here in means, you have to plan for your reward right on and even prior, You will have to follow the guidelines, book the destination in advance, Hotels in Advance, Stick within the Days Limit.. and return back on the desired/fixed date..

Thats Restricted, Unrestricted means no such limitations/boundations..somewhat easy structure for unrestricted..

My advice would be, get a credit card that converts every dollar into frequent flyer miles, and you'll have better chances of traveling. Depending on where you want to go, many credit cards ask for more than 35000 points (counting every dollar as a point)
