starwood amex # cards per household

I am wondering if there is any restriction on applying for two Starwood Amex card accounts in a single household. It seems that you could receive an extra 10,000 point bonus for doing so, and since points seem easily transferable and combinable with this card, there does not appear to be a downside. Am I missing something?

Did you read their terms and conditions? I'm sure they have something to exclude people getting the 10,000 extra points on their credit card somewhere.

Having spouses apply for the same card is the best way to more sign up bonuses. So no, there are no restrictions to members in the same household applying for credit cards.
