    Default Dissappearing transfer options

I have a Sears Mastercard and they were offering me a balance transfer at 0% for a year. I was going to move 8000 dollars to the card to save a few bucks so I paid off the sears balance. Once the balance hit 0 the offers dissapeared. Is this the usual routine by Citibank?

What do you mean by the 0% for a year?

I could transfer a balance to that account and have 0% interest for one year. So I paid down the account to 0 with the intent of doing so and once there was no longer a balance on the account the offer vaporzied..
