residence address is not the same as my mailing address!!

How stupid is that? I just put in a new application for a card and the application says "must be a resident of the U.S. no P.O. boxes please" so I put my residence address. Then I finish the application and it says that I will get a response through U.S. mail in 30 days. How the heck am I going to get a response? My RESIDENCE ADDRESS ISN'T THE SAME AS MY MAILING ADDRESS WHICH IS A P.O. BOX!! I'm angry now because I'm wondering if they're going to try to send a card or something to that resident address and it won't get there and now the mail will be lost and somebody might get a hold of my card and steal my iden***y! What a ridiculous situation.
Why don't they ask .. "resident address" and "mailing/billing address"???

I'm at a loss with post. If there is a mailbox on your property then you should get the response in the mail.
But I agree that not being able to send something to your mailing address (PO Box) is dumb. Don't you need to provide a physical address to get a PO Box?

Unfortunately, on Guam. You can have a physical address, but that's not necessarily your mailing address which is usually a p.o. box. Many people receive their mail only at their p.o. boxes. Which is the option that my family chose. And we don't need to provide the physical address for that. So, our physical address would not have been where I would get my mail. Hence, the problem. Oh well, maybe in the future it will be resolved.

You can complain to them and have it changed.
