My gas card combo

Thought I'd share this..

I used to have both the Citi Dividend Platinum and the Chase Cash Plus Rewards. Both paid 5% on EDP. But these cards no longer pay 5% - so here us my latest combo..

1. Discover Gas
2. BP Visa
3. Blue Cash

I am a travelling salesperson and use various gas stations when I travel but mainly BP around my home. I use the BP visa when I am at Bp stations. When I am travelling, I normally use the Discover Gas especially when I am not using BP stations. I use the Blue cash for other stuff cos you can earn 5% on EDP and 1.5% on OP once you spend above $6,500 for the year. But brfore I reach $6,500, I still earn 5% on gas with my other gas cards.

Oh - almost forgot, I use the BP card for dining and the occasional airline flights as well as I get 2% rebates for these types of spending.

I sure miss having the Citi Dividend (when they were paying 5% EDP - not the 2% that they are paying now). Hope we still get 5% with these cards for a while.

thanks for sharing your combo! Just made me realize that I have to get the discover gas instead of sticking to my chase perfectcard, which pays only 2% rebates on gasoline.
