Default Thinking of switching from cash back to rewards card?

Given that Citi Dividend and Chase Cash Plus no longer pays 5% on EDP, I am wondering if it makes sense to still have cash back cards. Right now, I have the blue cash, but how long will it be before it no longer pays 5% rebates on EDP?...

Looks like I'd better get a gas card that pays 5% just in case amex blue cash lowers the rebate. The only thing that is stopping me is that most reward cards do not pay extra for EDP purchases as well!

I would say keep the Blue Cash. I doubt it will go away because you have to spend above $6,500 to get the 5% EDP anyway.

I used to have the amex green charge card. But to pay those fees in the end did not make sense for me. I just get prefer cash back. In Blue Cash's case, you get them back in statement credits.
