    Default Good Business Credit Cards

I see lots of discussion on personal cards. But I'm looking for a business credit card. What are some of the better ones?

It depends what you are looking for. Most credit cards have a similar business card version, like frequent flyer business cards. Citibank for example have both the premierp*** consumer and business version. Amex has gold card and blue for both personal and business versions.

But unless you are more specific, we can't really say which is the best card for you?

I now use the amex gold card. Reason was I liked the service, the reward program and I can transfer miles to many airlines. It works for me, but I am now thinking of switching to starwood card.

There was a time when some places wouldn't accept Amex cards, even the business versions. It was years ago though so Amex might be a really good deal now.

What are the differences between business credit cards and personal credit cards in terms of percent rates and special offers?

I have yet to sit down and figure it out. I ***ume that the interest on a business card would be deductible as a business expense, so the cl***ification might be necessary for the IRS. That's just a guess though.

That does seem to make sense. I guess you could do that with your personal expenses, too, though.

Deducting personal expenses falls under another area of the tax code and you can only deduct what is allowed, which is different from the tax code ***ociated with business expenses. Travel for personal reasons is not deductible, but the same ticket purchsaed through a business for business activities is deductible through the business account.

Freelance business expenses require proof that the trip was strictly for business.

The best place to start when looking for a business credit card, is the bank where you hve your checking and savings for your business. This is one of those instances where having everything in the same place will work to your advantage. It might not garner you the benefits of taking advantage of lowest fees by shopping around, but it does protect you when you have to come up with financial do***entation. You only have to go to one source.

The small business credit cards will typically get you a higher credit line than a personal one. Other than that, they're much the same.
