Default Trying to decide which AA card?

I am a frequent flyer on american airlines and am thinking to getting a aadvantage card from citi. They have a bronz, gold and platinum card. I cannot decide which card to get because I am also a delta member.

not too sure if I should get a citi aa card or a amex gold card where I can transfer points to both aa and delta?

should I get the citi card or the amex gold card?

The Bronze version has no annual fee but you need to spend $2 to earn 1 mile. The limit is quite low as while.

The gold and platinum version gives you 1 mile for every $1 you spend. Gold has a $50 fee and platinum has a $85 fee. There is an article somewhere on this site that compares the three cards.

I refuse to pay an annual fee if I can avoid it! So, I rather earn miles by flying, and use my rewards card without annual fee to get some cash back.

That makes excellent sense. Earning your perks where they will be spent avoids your spending money and not being able to take advantage of rewards.
